Population in India – A curse or blessing
Nowadays, it is in fashion to symbolize or indicate population with poverty, but I think that it is exaggerated simplification. If it was true, the country more populated like China would have been really poor and very less populated countries of Africa with their great natural resources had been rich.
If we speak about a country like India that has a democratic form of government, yes, the accounts of number and a group having the largest population gets success. Some discuss this quality and not that quantity is the true power, but in any type of social or political installations, person cannot be unaware of the force of great numbers.
Now leave the glance to this exit of the opposite, which is this population, is force only when you have got money to feed people, employ the people, and also place them. If you do not have this power, the population is not simply a minor irritant rather than it is the main issue. If you do not have the possibilities to feed 1 single person, then 1 person is too much for you. In the same way, the African countries have a small population than India, but even this population is a way too much for Africans because they cannot handle them.
Yes, I agree totally that population is a great curse for a nation, but think if India has 20 crores of people less than what it has, all would have been changed. There would have been sufficient work for people. No death due to hunger and poverty, as all the natural resources could have been used effectively and had been consumed suitably.
What we want for a human being to live happily? Water, fuel, food, ores, clothing and many other things. If you will take example of Ahmedabad, India, I know tons of people having three to four children over there. The two parents unite together and can hardly make 5000 INR per month and after three to four children waiting for food and clothing and themselves, they do not having any savings, no nothing. These people who live under the poverty line are a consumer of just food and fabric and daily needs. They are not able to even put their children in a good convent school and they just go to a municipality or government school where you can imagine what they learn, nothing.
Yes, I am in agreement that people who are well educated in India have accepted family planning and are in favor of just giving births to one kid or at the max two, to make a complete family, husband, wife, daughter, and son but the main problem is with the illiterate class of people who always give birth on average to 4 to 6 kids. They are completely ignorant of the functioning or operation of the menses or menstrual cycle in females and I have heard that some of them consider their kids as gifts of God.
So the debate continues.......
