Kingler is a water pokemon that can be evolved from a level 28 Krabby. Kingler's special ability can either be Shell Armor or Hyper Cutter depending on which Pokemon game you are playing. Kingler does not look much different from Krabby, the only change really is the more aggressive look to him and a few more spikes! Now for the random facts for the King Krab!
Kingler is 4 feet and 3 inches tall.
Kingler weighs 132.3 pounds.
Kingler's shiny type is a dark green color.
Kingler's name is derived from the word King and Fiddler which are actually both types of real life crabs.
Kingler's secret ability is Sheer Force.
As goes with all evolved types of Pokemon, the evolved form is much more difficult to get than the unevolved form. Kingler is not found in as many places as Krabby and even in the places that it is found Kingler is considered a Very Rare Pokemon to catch. I have listed all the locations below but good luck actually finding it!
Blue/Red - On Route 23.
Yellow - On the Seafoam Islands and on Route 10 and 25.
Crystal/Silver/Gold - In Olivine City, Whirl Islands, Cherrygrove City, Cerulean City, and Cianwood City. Also on Route 19, 34, and 40.
LeafGreen/FireRed - On Island #s 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7.
White/Black - In Driftveil City and on route 4, and 13.
It is extremely difficult to catch a Kingler so I suggest you just look at my Krabby guide to just catch a low level Krabby and evolve it into a Kingler. If you have a Kingler on one game and would like it on another game you can always either trade or migrate your Kingler! Now for Kingler's very strong move list that is far superior over Krabby's move list!
Level 32 - Protect
Level 34 - Stomp
Level 44 - Slam
Level 51 - Brine
Level 56 - CrabHammer
Level 59 - Flail
