Where does rain come from?

Some say it comes from God,

Some say it is a form of nature,

That speaks to us with madness!

Rain falls wetting the ground,

Sometimes it's heavy

Sometimes it's slow

Puddling the streets all around.

It starts with dark clouds

And sometimes with thunder,

Or lightening,

Striking the sky.

Rain is needed,

So we are glad it comes,

Falling around us

As we take out our umbrellas.

Walking in the rain

Is not much fun,

But we need it,

And we cannot do without it.

When a storm comes

We hear loud thunder,

We see lightening bolts,

That brightens up the sky.

Too much rain is a hazard,

As it can bring floods,

And put us in a mood,

When we least expect it.

A frequent amount of rain,

Can be insane,

But rain in small amounts,

Is much better than none!

Rain brings puddles in the street,

Wetting our shoes

When we walk through a puddle

That splashes our feet.

Rain can bring rainbows,

An ark of colours in the sky,

A colourful and beautiful thing

For us to look at it.

A day of rain

Can never be a pain,

As it will give us a day inside,

To rest, read and enjoy our time

Listening to the pitter patter of drops

On our windows outside.

So, when the sun comes out,

After the rain has fallen,

It brings us a joy,

Because we know rain has come,

Helping all things to grow,

Bringing us many things

Like water,

And a day of thinking,

As we are couped up inside!
