Piracy in Media

Piracy is quite common in online media. Lot of online sites are available for free downloads and people are interested in downloading contents from them. Mostly this kind of free sites pirate contents from other sites and offer it to the people. Some legal sites are also available for downloads, but they require payment and investment for our membership as well as downloads, no one is interested in paying for things which is available for free. So lot of sites started to pirate the contents and offer them free to their clients.

We all know piracy is not a good thing and it is illegal. But people are interested in getting free stuff and download the pirated version of the movies and songs. This kind of people forget about the hard work and efforts of the persons whoever worked hard in the movies. Movie is not an easy thing, lot of people are working hard and give their utter most for creating a movie, to give importance and recognition to their work, we must get the premium download and pay for the money for their hard work.

It is really hard to control the piracy, until the persons whoever involved in the piracy come forward to change their activity and attitude. Government must take severe actions to stop the piracy. SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act)is one of the good way to stop this kind of piracy. But some of the people struggling against this acts due to some issues. Hope both of this Acts will come to existence soon and avoid the piracy in the internet which is good for the media.
