Besides the health benefits of pineapple it taste awesome here is a simple recipe to make pineapple sheera at home. The tangy taste and light chunky texture of pineapple give your dessert a new touch.
Pineapple: 1cup (chopped)
Rawa/sooji/semolina: 1-1/2 cup
Sugar: 1 cup/ to taste
Elachi/Cardamon: 3-4 (crushed)
walnuts: 1/2 cup (chopped)
Almond: 1/4 cup (chopped)
Raisans/kishmish: 1/4 cup (chopped)
Take a pan and add 1/2 cup of water and 3tbs sugar heat and add chopped pineapples. Cook for 5 minutes then take of from stove.
In another pan roast your sooji/semolina till light brown. After that Add ghee/butter and stir for 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup hot water in sooji/semolina and let it cook on low heat till it gains volume (appx 7 min).
Once the water is evaporated add the pre-cooked pineapple which you made eariler and mix well. At the same time add raisans and walnuts. Cook for five minutes.
Sprinkle crushed cardamon/elachi mix well. Stir for 2 minutes turn down heat and keep covered for 2-3 min.
Dish out in a bowl garnish with chopped almonds and pineapple and serve hot
