Philippines 2010 Elections - who is the best candidate as a President?
People are waiting who is the next best President because Philippines now is so worst! Leaders corrupting money from people through collecting additional taxes, making projects that people will need to pay for trace/guidance, high price of the primary needs of the people, etc. This is the common problems here in the Philippines that makes the country poor to the poorest in the eyes of the other countries. Why they do this? how they handle the country? Do they think that they will not affected someday? They have relatives also that they are not all rich, I know that they are suffering also. Just remember that leaders are remain leaders if they work good and doing their best to appreciate for the people.
Well anyway in May 2010 elections, the candidates of President who are top famous are Manny Villar, Noynoy Aquino and Gilbert "Gibo" Teodoro. I'm sure one of them wins and successful as a President in the Philippines. Manny Villar came from a poor family, of course he experienced difficulties of life and because of hard work! he is now famous Villar in the country. I think he is really a good president in the country but we can't really assure that he will focus all work for the country to make it wealthy country because he is a businessman. Businessman always finds a way to make their business grow as wider and wider. Maybe but we don't know his principles, I'm sure he can handle it in the future.
Noynoy Aquino came from a rich and courageous family which his father becomes a hero because of saving the country in the hands of Marcos and his mother also. This happens will not forget to all of the minds of the people who were saved by his parents. That's why many people insisting that Noynoy Aquino will need to run as President in our country but I think mostly are in Manila but what about other provinces? Do they want to? We know that Noynoy not planning to run for President lately but because of people's thoughts! he is decided to run..... Noynoy just makes the wants of the people.... I don't know more about Gilbert "Gibo" Teodoro but based on the surveys, he is next to Aquino and Villar. Teodoro has a potential to lead as a President in the country. I'm sure he can handle also,... anyway, even they loss or win.... Always win with yourself because we have all fate and the final destiny...

I've been promised myself that I will go for Villar and no one.... but I proposed this 2 main reasons why (humina sya sa survey) because people think negative of this... My beloved President Mr. Manny Villar, I hope you read this...
My President Mr. Manny Villar – eto po yung dalawang reasons why humina ka sa survey and some people think negative with you… They think (1.)na papatagin mo ang lahat na bukiran,.… but if they think clearly “hindi naman pwede lahat yan dahil my rights din ang tao and you respect it … eto lamang ay paninira sa opponent at thoughts sa mga tao that’s why they think negative… I guess nabawasan ka ng ilang percent my beloved President ... at ang ikalawa, yung brother mo na namatay dahil sa walang pera… they think negative because bakit daw doon sa mamahalin na ospital if walang pera. "Mga people hindi kasi ninyo naiintindihan, much better kasi sa mga very professional doctors para mas safe ang brother ng Presidente ko pero mamahalin talaga ang bayad that’s why almost naubusan na ng pera si Villar until namatay na yung kapatid nya dahil wala na ngang ibayad eh dahil sa mahal… Ang iba ay hindi nakaintindi that’s why negative ang isip nila....
the philippines is a great country and it should need a great leader as well.
You have your opinion who would lead our country. I for one being a Filipino hope to have a trusted President who is sincere, honest, and above all God_fearing with no history of corruption.
Villar, as you see, came from "rags to riches", who rose to became a millionaire. if we'll assess his personality, he has the potential of a good leader. But as you've said he is a businessman, and businessmen always tend to gain not to lose. Do you think he will spend money to win and forget his expenses? I don't think so!
Gibo Teodoro, a newcomer in the political arena, with a good background of clean public service. But we're not sure if he could be a good leader, especially that he is connected with the administration. Peoples' mind are bombarded with lots of anomalies from the administration. Teodoro's candidacy would have a great impact with his connection to the administration.
Noynoy Aquino, came from a family of heroes. His father ( a martyr) and his mother (considered as the mother of Philippine Democracy) are proven good leaders and patriots. No records of corruption, but instead have good records of public service. Noynoy on his part has no record of anomalies since he came into public services.
Comparing the three candidates, based on their records of public services, you alone can decide who is the most capable. WHO DO YOU THINK IS A GOOD PRESIDENT?
As I've said, I will go for Villar... if you don't choose him as a President, you can comment here who is your voting President and explain why; people will read your articles or comments and maybe they can get some information about what you would like....
I think you did the right choose! but we can' really assure that, because as a president; he/she have more things to be done and we don't know that they fail also.
I am always reminded of Bro. Eddie Villanueva`s advice that to choose a candidate who has the intention of saving the country from graft and corruption is the greatest responsibility we should know.. It can be Villar, Aquino, Gordon, Teodoro.
