     In the third instatement of the Paranormal Activity franchise, they bring you back even further into this haunting tale. Paranormal Activity 3 was focused on Katie’s parents and her sister and what they experienced before the first Paranormal Activity first was brought to light. Dennis and Julie are the parents and they bring you back to 1988 were they were witnessing strange occurrences in the house with their 2 children Katie & Kristi. Dennis ironically starts to set up video cameras to see if they can catch anything on film. This is where the fun begins…

    You notice throughout this film that Kristi has an imaginary friend that she is sure is indeed real and tells her secrets. You see clips of her talking to this imaginary friend by the name of Toby who she describes as really big and old. She has a tea party in one scene where it is apparent she is in a deep conversation with Toby. There are other scenes especially at bed time where Kristi gets out of bed and starts running around the house with Toby and playing hide and seek games.

     Same as the last installments, the entity usually is very active around 2 AM. There is a scene where Katie is picked up by her hair and knows that her younger sister is really seeing something the others do not.

     The film continues with many different attacks by this or these entities that terrify the family. Pentagrams and viscous attacks and they actually include the legend of Bloody Mary into one scene. The end of the movie is so hard to believe that I actually started questioning what I know.
Overall this movie is a must watch. You don’t even have to watch the other releases to enjoy this one but it does help. Paranormal Activity 3 actually took it a step further into the haunted family and brings things to light stuff that could never happen…or could it? I would recommend seeing this film in the theaters, at home or wherever. Paranormal Activity 3 was everything it was suppose to be and more. It takes a lot to scare me but there were some parts I was like, WTF? Paranormal Activity 3 is a must watch.
