Many of us who write articles for page impressions notice the drop in page impressions on weekends.

The drop in traffic is quite noticeable.

For example, the page impressions on weekdays are numbered at 100. When the weekends arrive, the 100 page impressions drop to 60 or less.

The worst is during the long weekends.

My worst page impressions occur in the period from Christmas to New Year. It seems that everyone drops off from the surface of the Earth.

When I was writing for page impressions in Associated Content, I paid very close attention to page impressions.

The average page impressions for weekday is 300 per day.

The average page impressions for weekend is 200 per day.

During the Christmas to New Year period, the average page impressions is just 120 per day.

The same thing happens to my two blogs. December was one of the bad months. The income from page impressions was far too low.

Page impressions never exceed 100 during the weekends.

I wonder why page impressions are so low during the weekends. The only reasonable answer is that people read when they are working. They get so tired of doing paper work that they use the computer for personal purpose.

I do not know how accurate this assumption is. I only know that I am not the only one who notices this trend of low page impressions during the weekends.

That is why I prefer to use weekends to edit my content. When I want to play around with the templates or widgets in my blogs, I use weekends to do so.

Have you noticed the correlation between weekends and page impressions? Do you notice a drop in earning from your content?

Since there are less visitors, it follows that we earn less.
