The growing knowledge in science and modern technologies has made many people skeptical towards the God and His powers; especially the young generation nowadays. In fact, majority are simply refusing to believe in God’s existence as they tend to rely on the knowledge of this world. Moreover, the concern of growing troubles and calamities in this world are an addition to their beliefs since most of them have little or no knowledge about the real God that described in the bible. Perhaps, everyone likes to think or assumes that God cannot be cruel or unjust – as they undeniably portray God as love. Truth to be told, God is love and He surely does love anyone in this world who keeps His commands. However, often times the story goes opposite – where people are unwilling to accept and follow His instructions given through the bible.
It is not our God who changes; it is our understandings and beliefs that changes often. Bible declares that our God remains same and so does His precepts – as it is written in (Revelation 1:8, NIV); “I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”” More to the point, word of God is actually inviting and inspiring many souls at the same time towards this ultimate change – from the corrupt world to the uncorrupt divinity of his kingdom. The great invitation of the Lord written in the bible (Matthews 11:28-30, NIV) is a perfect narration of His love for the chosen ones; “Come to me, all you who are weary and troubled in your lives and I will give you rest. Take my burden upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” This is the beauty of our Lord to keep us safe and original ever without any changes, just like His nature.
When talks about the impenitent and obstinate heart of unbelievers; the predestined theory of the Lord is confirming once again its part of reliability which is mentioned in Romans 8:28-29 (NIV) – “All things God that works for the good of those who love him unconditionally, who have been called according to his good purpose. For those people God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, Jesus Christ.” Therefore, trust in God since He is our God of past, present and future. Keep in mind, nothing of this world can change our heart except Him, as it is mentioned in Ezekiel 36:26-27, that He will put a clean heart of flesh within us and remove our heart of stone and give us a spirit to follow His rules and decrees.

I agree, God does not change, except maybe changing His mind on occasions. But the exciting truth is that times and revelation change! How exciting it was when being born again was rediscovered and how exciting it was to see the great revival that followed at the time. This revival was inline with the Feast of Passover, it was all about Jesus, the Lamb of God who was sacrificed for all who would believe.
And then there was the Pentecostal/Charismatic revival when people rediscovered the receiving of the Holy Spirit and the wonderful fruit and gifts that occurred as a result. This is inline with the Feast of Pentecost, and is all about the Holy Spirit and His ability to teach, comfort, and guide us to the Father.
But there was one more major feast that was to be kept for all time, the Feast of Tabernacles! This is upon us, an exciting time of entering the Promised Land, the relationship with the Father.
It is interesting also to note that with each of the aforementioned revivals, there was opposition from the established church of the time. Once again we will see established churches resist and even oppose what God is doing as we enter into this exciting phase of the journey.
You are right in saying God does not change, He has set this up right from the beginning and now is the time for people, the church, to enter into this great and final Feast before the Lord's return.
