Other Things to Do Aside from Facebooking

Since I am jobless at this time, I noticed that I was spending considerable time in Facebook. With thousand friends all over the world and chatting with ten persons at a time, it really consumed my time.

But today, I realize, I am a writer. I mean, a writer, someone who writes, sometimes for a living, but often times out of boredom.

Actually, I've been writing for quite some time in some other sites, but those do not make me earn money. It's just that good I made some money writing in real newspapers in my home country in the Philippines.

Okay, here's how:

1. Get a site. I found expertscolumn.com.

2. Find out if the site really pays. I have other sites. But even with hundreds of views I just got two cents! Imagine that. Although they really pay, as I've asked some members, but many got tired and transferred to other sites. Here at expertscolumn.com they pay out even as little as $5.

3. Contribute to online newspapers. As I've told you, I am really a writer. If I find a good story from where I am, I write it down and send it to an editor. The editor might find it useful and publishes it in the next issue. In January and February 2012 I had two publications published both online and on paper. The Philippine Daily Inquirer paid me; enough to get me a plane ticket.

4. Write. Just write anything. Any topic under the sun. Send it everywhere in the net. Who knows, somebody might find it useful.
