That's right, Nintendo has announced that it will release a Nintendo 3DS update that will allow you to record 3D Videos with your 3DS camera! The update was going to come out in November, but it's been moved back to December 8th, so I'd expect it by here by the first of the year.

Nintendo has launched a video telling us all the new features that will be avalible with new 3DS update. The Update will be free and avalible any where with an internet access. If you're looking to buying a 3DS this is a feature that will greatly increase the value. I doubt that nintendo will raise the price after this update, but they won't be likely drop the price any time soon.

If you are waiting to get a 3DS, what's wrong with you?!?!? They are already as cheap as a DSi XL and they are going to be able to record 3D video, in addition to all the current features, like 3D video downloads, 3D pictures, and the ability to get 3D movies, as well as normal movies, through NetFlix! (If you are a netflix member of course.

There is no word yet weather or not you will be able to upload videos directly to youtube from your 3DS, but the record time limit is 10 minutes, and you can save it to an SD card. This means a bunch of poor quality 3D videos on youtube. It's likely that nintendo will allow users to share 3DS videos with each other, like a way better 3D version of flipnote. The 3D videos will likely just appear normal on computers, and only 3D on 3DS systems.
