The New Service of Google! Now G-mail Will Also be Used Like Normal Phone

Google, the mostly used and authenticated search engine of the world has also stepped into services and application during the past few years. Now Google Messenger, Google News and Google Browsers (Chrome) are also getting popularity rapidly due to their simple usage. Recently Google has introduced a new feature of free phone calling to landline or mobile phone using their Gmail Service.

Till yet the Gmail users’ remains in contact with the help of Google Voice and Video Chat through speakers and microphone and for it loging in to Gmail account was also required, but now Google’s Chief Executive has introduced a new feature, with the help of which without loging in to Gmail, phone calls can be made to any landline or mobile phone.

The basic purpose of this service is to enable Gmail users to contact their relatives and friends in any part of the world. This service has been initially provided free of cost to America and Canada for one year. Google has put charges for this service in other countries but these charges are also minimal as compared with normal phone. Hence it will be decided by region and whether the call is made on landline or mobile phone.

Simultaneously, special tariff’s has also been prepared for Britain, France, Germany, China, Japan and few other countries, according to which it is proposed to fix charges to 0.02 USD per minute at maximum. This service will also be provided in Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh soon. Under which the Google Voice Users will also be able to use this service like Gmail. For instance the record of phone calls, facility to record messages, receiving calls, browsers handset etc will be available on both.

Basically two things are required in this system for using this service, first one is Gmail Account and secondly, Voice Activated Plugin should be installed in your system. And if even after fulfilling these requirements, the user is unable to use this service clearly like Google Voice then it means that the Gmail Account of the User has not been configured for this service at all.

In order to configure this service at the outset log in to your Gmail Account. Click on the Chat option present on left side of the screen. You will see a TAB on which “Call Phone” will be written with green ink. Click on this TAB, a box will appear which asks you for the region. If you will have to configure this service for America or Canada there will be no question about charges. Only an agreement will appear on the screen. Just Click on ACCEPT after reading it. Now examine the Call Box and enter phone number or contact name using Dial Pad. If you made any mistake, press the Delete button and re-enter the correct entry.

This new feature of Gmail is equally useful for Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Opera, Safari and Chrome. In order to use the Google Call, press the Blue button present downside. Your new service is now ready to use. The Google spokesman said that not only easy communication will be sought by this service but also calling charges will also be minimized for calling to far flung areas.
