I joined Expertcolumn at the end of 2011 and I always trusted this website, because the actions performed by the admin were enough for me to recognize a well-intended individual. However, I was disappointed about the thing that the site was auctioned. I understand why the admin did it and maybe I would have done the same. Issues could arise if the new owner is not an honest person, which I hope will not be the case.
The need for an Expertscolumn community on Facebook can be doubted, as the website itself is a community. However, writers may need a place where they can talk independently and maybe share their newest articles to the other members, discuss about issues with the site, when they occur, etc.
The website has a Facebook page already, but some people may think that an independent community may be a good idea too. If people do join a discussion group it does not mean they do not have to post comments on the website as well. On the contrary, I encourage anyone to post comments on the website, as this could be helpful for its future.
Not only that what the admin does for the website counts, but our contribution is also important. The more articles and comments we post as writers, the website can grow more and this is beneficial for all of us. Just like any company has a syndicate for workers, I consider that we as writers should have a place of confidence, where we can talk about our passion and about various things related to Expertscolumn.
Since the website is in a constant change and improvement, people may feel the need to discuss about this and other similar subjects. Is there a need for a discussion group? I would answer yes and the reasons could be many.

The numbers are increasing, hope all join.
I think the creation of Expertscolumn community group on FB is long overdue as it would spare EC of bandwidth like the chat feature and it will inspire each other writers to be more creative. Now, my friend Florin Marchis(Savaswriter)is from enchanting Romania and I from exotic Philippines.
Come aboard, we wait for you to join!
Yes I forgot to mention anything about the chat feature that the site had. It was awesome, I had the chance to talk to the admin himself through it. But I guess it ate a lot of bandwidth. Thanks for the comment. There is one more Romanian that just joined the group. His name is Sebastian Onciu. Cheers!
