National Pride Hockey

Its been a long time we were playing the game and when we turn ourself into mirror we can see that we have our national Game is dying out.India is country where you find many sports which is been played and everysport has his value.Indian started playing hockey long back and won his pride in Hockey in 1928 olympics.the father of Indian Hockey Dhanchand is the first man who use to make team run around for taking the ball.Indian seen a great come back in Hockey in 1928 to 1956 when India won 6 Gold Medal in Olympic in an row.

DhanChand was the originator of Hockey in India and prepared the team for Amsterdon Olympics where the magic of Hockey was generated over the field and won the gold for India in 1928.In 1933 dhan chand own hockey team Jhansi heros participated in the olympics and won the Olympics Gold.Chand was the captain for the team.Dhan Chand won many golds in his career and particpated in many olympics. He has taken retirement at the age of 51 from army as a Major and Indian government selected him for Padma bhushan.indian postal service has issued a stampage in 3 December 1980.Dhan Chand died in 3 December 1979 and a legend was buried in his home town in jhansi heroes ground.

Indian Hockey team is a pride for India when every player can contributed towards the game and made this game popular in all time.Indian brought pride to the country when they played hockey against every country when dhan chand was the captain.Hockey was main sport in india and people love to watch hockey in their home on dordarshan.

Now time has changed player are not even considered to earn pride for the country because of politics and no love towards the Game.The condition the players have been need to be changed as we have to promote the game before it dies.
Indian should come forward and see the game with pride as they see Cricket and try to love the game with pride and help our players with campaigns.
