I have always wondered WHY Wikinut is so unlike other sites we've ever known: UNCARING for and OBLIVIOUS to writers and most moderators apply the rules on star pages favourably only among themselves, and that's always obvious, if you ask the man - or Wikinutters - on the street.
Straight Talk
I hate to harbor a grudge against Wiki. After all, this was the place I started to write that got me published. Most of them articles and poems paved the way for oh, lots of Wikinutters to become my friends.
Now listen to me. The Chief Nut seems to be the most interesting guy in town. He always a conversation piece he truly was and is! Paramount questions in our minds are: Is he ALIVE and DOES HE KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON?
And does he really own Wikinut?
If so, does he have a staff? Even a skeleton crew?
The Chief Nut, A Mystery, And A Legend!
"Contact Us."
What does that button mean in the menu? Is it meant to be clicked? So many questions and no answers.
Does Wikinut have an organization, or a staff to answer grievances. From experience, of course, NONE that we know of.
The wonderment lingers then. Does Wikinut ever listen to reviews, mostly devilish, from others at other sites who used to patronized it in hopes of better "writing conditions"?
Last time I checked, it didn't..and still doesn't. And the moderators haven't a clue why, or whether they can help to better the site, the absence of which, more and more disgruntled writers help to fuel the fire of speculation and rage.
Meanwhile, fewer new writers are coming in to publish and I doubt they will, as I know my referrals retreated after a few tries, ever "persevere" for long either.
In case you haven't realized it yet, majority of writers don't write for nothing! And more to the point, they don't write for a site whose owner, unlike others, doesn't respond, ever, to their needs, much less suggestions!
Better go back then, dear Chief Nut, to the drawing board and repackage Wikinut and assure us and the next generation of writers that there will never be as much time to earn at least 2 English pounds in a year which can be earned elsewhere in a month!
Or Wikinut, for that consistent neglect, smears, I'm sorry to say, the reputation of Great Britain.
You can judge me by what I ranted or raved about or by the truth I said like it is. In any case, my criticism has always been for the betterment of Wikinut.

Interesting observation. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much, Pradeep.
Like you I expected better from Wikinut. I am willing to 'see' with a new sit which is working out kinks. But after a year when there seems no positive movement, it's pretty clear the owner of the site has no interest in it.
The quality has plunged. I wouldl say the decline began about Xmas of 2011 when I noticed garbage given stars. The two new 'mods' are made up of one good writer and one trash writer.
It received about hits last year at this time, now receives about 60k hits. It's plunge from about 70k happened just about the time that you pulled out...(along with old man's posts, the creation of 2 new mods, etc.) It is continuing to decline.
Now you would imagine if a person had a site that got 75k hits a month and the hits began to fall, one would do something. Not the C'nut. He's dropped by 15% and is still decling.
Thanks, Tallawah, for the comment.
The one person to see and observe is this Chief Nut. Why, he's been unmoved like a statue despite bad reviews his wiki's been getting at other sites not only lately but, in fact, (turns out) way way back earlier.
The amazing thing is he remains unperturbed! And the moderators, though I must admit most are kind to me, are in the dark as to where the Chief Nut is taking the site, and them. It's no longer unfathomable why the "contact us" button there is a dead button. Oh, well.
Thanks again.
