I like writing music reviews for somewhat unknown names because of the fact that I, myself, was a local artist for a while before I became writer (Electronic artist Mixman86). As an electronic artist myself, I have quite a bit of respect for post-hardcore music with electronic elements in it. What you hear is what you get with post-hardcore/electronic metal band Panic, Sky Fell.

With a lineup similar to We Came As Romans with a dedicated screamer, lead singer, two guitarists, a possible bassist, and a drummer, they utilize all their many styles and put them together to turn it into a great sound that is entirely their own. Their use of autotune is very appropriate for their style, which includes quite a bit of electronic elements. But at the same time, the guitarists are quite talented and they show off their ability to pull out a great guitar solo from time to time. The synthesizer loops in the background give a similar sound to that of fellow post-hardcore act Enter Shikari.

The song "Dancing Dreams & Color is the Way of Sell" is a little bit slow in the beginning to get started, but eventually impresses with a solely electronic dance opening and follows into a hard drop with metal guitar riffs and a well done scream. The chorus is sung and the use of autotune is definitely apparent. But my favorite song was the one they sent me on Twitter, "The End of the Road," which has not received as many views as it should have on Youtube. The screaming is very smooth and the violin synthesizer and piano in the background is extremely epic. The chorus is well sang, uses less autotune, and is extremely catchy, as if it were a We Came As Romans song. The end of the song ends with a dance loop that is overlayed with singing, similar to the ending of the song, "Stick Stickly" by Attack Attack!.

Overall, I would say that Panic, Sky Fell is a 9/10 in my book. Their sound is original, but at the same time, contains great similarity to other post-hardcore and trance metal bands and their great qualities. The band is very easy to listen to, their music meshes together well, and its influences are apparent in the music they make. This band is one that needs to get more views, so please give them a listen.
