Mothers who are they

Who are these wonderful versatile ladies that we call mother, and many other terms of endearment that we come up with. Some times we call her by different names as we grow older,at first she might be Ma, then as we learn to say it, mommy is the most popular among the the toddler age group.

After that it can go to mom or if you are upset with her you might say “MOTHER”, but really for the most of the rest of your life you will call her mom, with varying degrees of affection. Your mother is the one person who will always love you and be loved by you, she will be proud of you no matter what. She will give you advise based on her knowledge but she won’t interfere, and when you have made the right decision she will say that you did it right.

Mothers seem to have instinctive knowledge of what you are doing and whether it is right or wrong, most like my mother will not say anything, but will hint that you should try a different approach to your problem and a good part of the time she is right.

Like riding down Pine Hill Drive in my little red wagon one time she said “If you keep doing that you are going to have a wreck”. Well as fate would have it I kept doing it and sure enough I had a crash and the wagon ended up on top of me and cut the back of my head. But you know MOM was right there with the peroxide, iodine and bandage to fix me up, but you know the next time I went down the hill, I steered around the bump that threw me before. So you know we do learn our lessons. So now there was no reason for the little neighbor kid Billy Thompson to laugh at me because I never crashed again.

Mothers are the lowest paid of all professions,think about it, she is a doctor,nurse, hairdresser, tutor for your school work, teacher of morals, arbitrator of any disputes in the family and best friend, what pay does she want? Only a sincere “I love you,MOM”
