Mother Is Still Breastfeeding Her Five Year Old Daughter

A while back I wrote an Article ‘ How Long Should A Woman Breastfeed Her Child?’ I will post a link at the end of this article. While I’ve recently came across a story about a woman who is not only still breastfeeding her daughter at five years of age, but also offers to feed her friend’s babies and children.

From the moment Elizabeth became pregnant with her first child she knew she was going to breastfeed and she would only stop until the children were ready. Elizabeth is so strong in her views that she would have no problem feeding her daughter in public if she was upset, and would be prepared to deal with any looks or comments from strangers.

Elizabeth said she has even breastfeed her friend’s baby when the child was hungry and her mother was busy doing something, her friend was happy with the offer and didn’t see anything wrong with it either.

Although breastfeeding past the age of two is heavily criticized throughout society with many saying it will cause a child to have emotional problems when they are older as they will remember being breastfed. Others say its the parents unwilling to let their child grow up.
