Mother Earth! We are Sorry!

Hello friends,

As we all know, that we are the biggest of the culprits in destorying the nature and the beauty of our very own mother earth. Dont you all think it is high time that we stop being materialistic and start thinking about the betterment of the next generation?! 

There are trees being cut all over the place for the sake of building the posh buildings and the glass bunglows. People over here get everything, except for the water and the good air which are all the basic necessities of our life. 

The anger of the nature cannot be tolerated by the humans. Cutting down of the trees has already resulted in the decrease of the rain fall level in so many places and people in places do not even have water to drink. 

Today, we have come to a state where we need to pay money to drink water. We are buying water and I am afraid that there will be a day when we will have to pay money to even breathe. I am totally worried about how the life in future is going to be. 

You may wonder why I am suddenly speaking all these things. Let me share you my experience today.

I had been to a place today where people were invited to plant the trees for the betterment of the future. I had gone with one of my friend. 

Believe me or not, there were around 200 people over there of which, youngsters were only about hardly 10 of us. 

We felt ashamed of how the youngsters are reluctant about the nature and our very own mother earth. We spoke to a lot of people who were there. Most of them above 45 or 50. There were people who had come to serve the purpose even if they were not fine health wise. 

When asked them why they had come irrespective of them being in this state, the only reply which made us feel awe struck was that,

"we have had some good environment around us, nature was good even if it was not at its best when we were young. We made a lot of mistakes, but at least we got a chance to correct a mistakes. That is why we are here. But one thing that worries us is, in a few years we wouldn't be here in this world, but we still feel the need to save this earth for the coming generations of my family at least. But my kids and grandkids who should be doing this are enjoying and partying all the time and they din't even bother to know what is happening. 

We are all worried for this generation which is running behind fun and parties. They care nothing about others and their future. 

All we can do is, do our bit till we have our last breathe and pray that everything will be fine. "

Somewhere these words hit me hard. Somewhere even if not our generation, the coming generations would suffer a lot because of our reluctance. 

Please people, wake up from the dreams and the matrialistic world and save the nature. We can't be seflish anymore. We don't have any other place if our mother earth abandon us! wake up people!
