Approximately 8900 people are currently signed on to Expertscolumn, as of today, 18th July 2012. Of which 1200 have published only one article each.
About 100 portfolio's contain more than 100 published articles each. And 2260of the contributors on Expertscolumn have less than 10 published articles in their respective portfolio's!
The rest are still to publish their first column on Expertscolumn. I am not the bestest in calculations but a look at the above stats indicates that more than 50 percent of Expertscolumn Columnist's are still to publish their first column.
While the Top Three Columnists have crossed over the 1000 publication mark, they are:
megamatt09(the top most his published column tally is closer to 1,500!)
madugundukrishna
Madan G Singh
Congratulations to you'll!

Moving on to my research analysis(I wouldn't recommend you to rely on it totally, as I mentioned earlier, mathematics is not my forte!).
What are the reasons why people join and don't publish?
Is it lack of ideas.
Difficulties in getting published?
Loss of interest.
Site problems.
Technical issues.
I can't think of anymore reasons, can you?
I do know that there are 3 most important rules to be followed strictly when publishing on Expertscolumn:
1) Publish only original articles. And republish articles with the same penname only!
2) Your article(they call it column here!) has to be at least 200-300 words long.
3) You cannot put any number of links anywhere into your article. Only three links per article and those should necessarily be put below your column.

Ideas are easy just think about what you look up on line, then write about it. But I thought the number of words had to be at least 300 to be published, so thanks for the information
It took me ages before I published my first article on here. Lack of ideas was the main reason.
