‘If There Are No Bees Humans Will Perish’

I recently watched the latest Shah Rukh Khan flick ‘My Name is Khan’. This article is not about the movie, less said about it the better.

However, there was one very interesting scene in the movie where SRK advices not to use the mobile phone as it is very harmful. He says “Don’t use the mobile phone, as it is harmful for the bees. Einstein had said that if there will be no bees then humans will perish in four years time”

At first, this sounded more like a blabbering from the character that SRK plays. However, since he claims that Einstein has made that prediction I was a bit keen to look at what this strange quote really means.

Did a bit of research on this and the relationship is quite simple. The mobile phones communication waves are so harmful that it affects the navigation sense of the bees. Now with so many mobile towers erected everywhere, these little creatures are finding it difficult to find their way around the place. So what it eventually does is it effects pollination as they play a major role in helping the pollination process. This in effect will lead to food crisis and that will lead to the very existence of mankind.
Quite interesting domino effect isn’t.

This statement just bring out the great circle of life we are all entangled in. every thing on this planet is so beautifully interconnected. If we try to mess with any of these life forms then we are in a way breaking this circle of life and we will have to pay dearly at one time or other.

Technology is good if we make the right use of it. Just think about this for a while, if the mobile radiation can effect the bees who are flying at a distance, what effect would it be having on us while holding it so close to our body.

Use the mobile phone diligently. If not for the bees at least for yourself.
