Misibis Bay Experience

Just last December I and my daughter along with my niece and nephews had the grandest vacation of our lives.Thanks to my generous sister who shouldered all the expenses at Misibis Bay. It was such an unforgettable vacation ever.

Misibis bay is is located at Cagraray Island, Bicol Albay. It is an hour ride away
from the city proper. Upon arriving at Legazpi City, we were fetched by the resorts'
Coaster van. The ride going to the resort was exciting; anywhere we went the majestic
Mayon Volcano was just an eyesight away, unfortunate though for us, because Mayon was on a shy mode the whole time we were there. We have only seen the tip of her majesty due to the thick clouds covering
her beautiful body.

When we made our entrance to the resort, we were welcomed by dancers in their IBALO dance. ( you will here This music playing every time a guest arrives at the resort) when you hear this music, then this means another group of guests have arrived.

The beach is splendid. You can choose either to swim in the vast space of the open sea or in their beautifully designed infinity pool just beside their SPICE restaurant.

There are so many activities to do both for kids and adults. Below are the things we did according to the activities we’ve had:

1. ZIP LINE - It was my first time to try the zip line. If not for my niece and nephews, I would have not dared it. But well, when you are with a bunch of teenagers, you feel young yourself so go go go!

2. BANANA BOAT RIDE - we were 5 in all and the youngest in the group was my daughter who just turned eight. Although we had a life vest, you can’t take the worry out of me being a mother. At first it was ok, but when the jet ski went faster it was when I had the loudest scream of my life. I had to coach the teens when to steer to the right or left just to make sure that we won’t fall at the far end of the beach. It was an amazing experience and another Unforgettable one too.

3. DIVING/SNORKELING - I admit, I don't know how to swim, so don't complain if I say I did not try to dive. Oh well, I did listen to the dive master but when I saw how deep the water was when I was snorkelling, I told myself oh no, I can’t do this, and dive I did not.

4. SEGWAY - at first it was difficult to do the balancing act. As if you have to be a circus balancer first before you get to do it the right way. But thanks to the help of the recreation personnel who not only boost our confidence that we can do it, but also pushed us so that we can go the MARINA using the segway... and oh boy was it a great ride.

These are just the highlights of our experience at Misibis. Of course, the food was superb, not to mention the excellent
service of all the crew. Everything was just as perfect as we expected it would be. Till next time
