Minimum Word Count for Publishing Poetry and Recipes on EC

Blue For You

When I see you with her,

Then I start to whimper…

All over again,

I feel the pain!

It’s bad-

I’am so sad.

Blue for you,

Blue for you,

Oh my darling,

I am feeling-

So blue for you,

This is the poem I wanted to republish on Expertscolumn or EC as it is popularly known online. Blue For You  has already been published from Triond(online writing and publishing site). But the column wouldn't go through for publication on EC because of  the minimum word limit. Poetry and recipes need to contain at least 200 words if it is to be published on Expertscolumn.

Obviously, my poem above doesn't contain as many words and so it was not getting published from here. I rarely publish poetry online, whether it is on Triond or Expertscolumn(two sites that I am active on), for two reasons -on Triond, poems don't make much money and on EC it has to contain at least 200 words to get published.

I am thinking now of my fellow writers,particularly those who mainly publish poetry, must be quite frustrating to  abide by all the publishing rules and still keep writing lovely poetry(I have read some great poems here and on Triond too). Perhaps, it would be a good idea to club poems together and publish it all under one title. But then would that be good for SEO?

Anyway, I am sure admin on Expertscolumn has a very good reason for keeping a minimum word count. Remember:Minimum 200 words are required for your poem or recipe to be published on Expertscolumn. Sometimes it helps to reiterate important guidelines like this. So much for now. Would love to have your feedback on my poem. Thank you.

I wrote a big article on the subject matter of how to write a poem that will get published several months ago to help those who primarily and or would like to occasionally write a poem on EC... I did so because of a member here who at that time was frustrated about having to write 200 words or less for a poem, which by the way as the 300-350 word count for article writing has ALWAYS been in place on EC. At any rate, the writer was appreciative and since has not had one iota of an issue to have their poems published after reading the tips of the article. The suggestions are made to also help one's poetry and personality stand above the rest in poetry style as to make for appearing to be a topnotch professional poet also. There are certain things all poets do when presenting their poetry, writing it the EC forum is very beneficial. If you and or any of your readers what to see why and or you or they are interested in help on the matter of how to publish poetry here, look for my article on what many poetry writers here say they have found helpful.
