The magic and the truth of love so pure, emanating with these fragrant words. Loads of imagery packed in these lines...as is there flow..as is there rhyme! An imagery and rhyme poem serenading the magic of love.

Lost to worlds of fragrance simmering unknown,
perfumes of heart's gentle breeze into mellowness thrown.
Flowers to scented smells as music to soul's soothing,
cologne brushing senses pristine to fire's in flame glowing.

All consuming madness of pure magic told,
from ancient to now as tales of future fold.
Immortal to time's essential to cravings,
longing's cherished so divine.. yet for only heart's living...

Naturalness in form's.. love so complete,
besot in brevity of fights so gently sweet.
Calmness to tranquil, drives for purpose dwell,
not tiresome but in zest for meaning in swell....

Author Notes:

An in depth an analysis will ruin the beauty of the poem. I will briefly touch on the essence of each stanza.
The opening stanza uses a metaphorical reference to fragrant perfume, symbolic of new found love. Just as perfume is soothing and calming to the senses, such is the emotion experienced in love. Emphasis is placed on the feeling of fulfillment and completeness. The last line makes reference to “Fires aglow”, the intense burning passion associated with the magic of love.
The second stanza compliments this universal feeling giving it immortality or a never ending cycle that escapes no man.
The final stanza sums up the magic associated with love.
