Love's Prophecy: Chapter Six: Learning To Identify Love Pt. 6

Set me like a seal upon your heart, like a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, jealousy is as hard and cruel as Sheol (the place of the dead). Its flashes are flashes of fire, a most vehement flame (the very flame of the Lord!) Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man would offer all the goods of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned and despised. Songs 8:5-7

Such strong love this man will have for you, it will be like you are tattooed on his heart. You will be like a seal on his heart. One of the definitions of a seal is, “A closure, as on a package, used to prove that the contents have not been tampered with.” You and the One From On High will be such a seal, such a covering over your love’s heart that it will be hard for other women and the cares of this present world to be able to tamper with his inner man and succeed.

This love will be tested. It will prove to stand genuine and strong. No trial, no tribulation, no dry season of life can cast this love out. There’s always mighty situations to come against true love, but if it is rooted in the ultimate ONE, no storm can demolish it. Many destructive waves can’t undo what began in the heavens.

“Well, my girl that is all for tonight! That is the end of that part of the story.” said Samuel.

Grace replied, “That is too bad, what beautiful instruction. It really did speak to my heart. That is the kind of love, I have always wanted, but never knew how to put it into words. I sure do hope I get to experience that kind of love, it seems so impossible and so far away. By the way, kind of funny that the girl in this story is also named, Grace. Makes me feel special that we share the same name!! Samuel, I am barely going to be 13. Do you think it is too young for me to be thinking about this topic?”

Samuel said, “No not at all. It is desposited in every little girl’s heart to have such a love. If you choose to stand true to the leading of the One From On High in your life, he will lead you to that love. Your steps will be divinely guided. You are not too young to be thinking about this and considering the right way to go. The earlier you understand what to look for, the less pitfalls you will fall into. If I were you, I would read this particular chapter I just read over and over again till it sticks on your heart. I will make a copy of this chapter for you. Many opportunities, many men will come to your path, but there can only be one. Sure, you could make it work with multiple options. However, The One From On High, is being very intentional with your choice. Now it is a good time to pay attention, to what is most important in a man. Yes, it is quite cool that you have the same name as the girl in this story...there are no coincidences. Since we are on this subject of men, now is a good time for me to give you a letter I have written to you over time. It is my instruction on what to look for in a man. I was gonna give it to you on your 15th birthday, but I feel like you should have it now.”
 

“Wow!!! Thank you so much Samuel! I’ll start reading it tonight and read it, again and again”. Samuel, gave her the letter, said a little prayer and Grace went off to bed.
