Sometimes we need to see the truth just to have the real freedom. Sometimes we need to lose something to save something.

Lose religions, save faith

Many of us always have faith in church and religions and we feel we are helpless without them. There are people who see it as vital to survive in life. Here, I found out some really dark sides of religions. Sometimes we need to sense them and don't pretend that they are not happening. These are 4 of the bad things happening at churches and religions.

1. Platform for Self-Promotion

Let us be honest, we need church because there is an audience there. We need to impress people we are a great leader, a great public speaker, a great teacher, dancer, singer. Yes we do it for the God? but how about us, we also want to be worship isn't it?

2. Platform for Funds Collection

Oh not really for feeding the poor or for the sick. We need this because we need to put a school business which rakes a lot of money- tax free. We need to have stained glass windows, magnificent architecture, marble floors, gold plated altars and airconditioned rooms.

3. Platform to confuse our minds

We need to hear long sermons and teachings. Making things more complicated while forgetting the basic commandments and the simple rule of christian living. Make our minds explode with spiritual knowledge so we can debate with a lot of people.

4. Platform for Exclusive Perks and Privileges

Church is a great place, lots of wonderful people, lots of fun activities, trainings, seminars, conventions, conferences, self-enrichment but the question is, is it open for anyone or is it made just for the highly selected few based on some filtering test and lifestyle check? No, the church is not for everyone, if the original people at the church does not feel you, moved out. It is not about worshiping Jesus it is about exclusive privileges right?

How about praying to God, conducting a Mass, helped by a pastor, and a priest, signing of a holy cross, pray deep to God, for the purpose of hurting someone inside the boxing ring with a series of punches while the opponent in turn retaliates, does God enjoy's those two fighters kept on punching each other?
Does God grant that fighter who keep on praying to Him to win a brutal fight while the crowd, spectators, tv viewers enjoys?
