In 1983, Dr. Howard Gardner developed the theory of Multiple Intelligences. According to him, the intelligence test based on the I.Q testing is to limited. He suggested that there are broader range of human potentials and these are categorized into the Multiple Intelligence. These intelligences are the Linguistic Intelligence, the Logical-Mathematical Intelligence, the Spatial Intelligence, Bodily Kinesthetic Intelligence, the Musical Intelligence, the Interpersonal Intelligence, the Intrapersonal Intelligence and the Existential Intelligence.

The Linguistic Intelligence is the individual's ability on the use of spoken as well as in written language, he or she can easily analyze information individually in groups, the individual can easily synthesized information into personal and group projects as well as evaluates the process of learning.

The Logical-Mathematical Intelligence is the individual's ability on Mathematical and Logical aspects. Learners who posses Logical-Mathematical Intelligence are shown to be excellent in Mathematical or Logical operations.

The Spatial Intelligence is the individual's ability in moving through space. This ability is evident in different activities such as in sports, in dancing and the like. An individual that is gifted with this intelligence has a good ability to create an imaginary objects in space.

According to the theory of Multiple Intelligences, humans have a broad range of potentials and these potentials should be properly developed
