Let The Parties Begin

Super Bowl XLV is tomorrow, but partying and pre-game events likely started last (Friday) night!

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers face off tomorrow night in Super Bowl XLV down in Dallas, Texas. However, a lot of people have spent the weekend partying before the game and will continue to party during, and likely after, the game.

A lot of money is on the line for people around the world, as bets are made, Super Bowl squares are sold, and other ideas people have came up with. Most would agree that the Packers are favored over the Steelers, but it will all come down to game time and how both teams play. The Steelers have Super Bowl experience, but the Packers are still favored to win.

Money is spent on Super Bowl parties held in households around the United States, and possibly world, on Super Bowl Sunday. A lot of households have the traditional chips and dips, but some include sandwiches of different sorts. Every household seems to have a tradition as to what they do on Super Bowl Sunday.

Most Super Bowl parties do involve drinking.......alcohol. The most important thing to remember is that if you drink, do not drive! Super Bowl parties can be a lot of fun if done right, and drinking is usually involved, but police officers are aware that people consume alcohol while watching the Super Bowl, and they are out and about before, during, and after the Super Bowl watching for people driving while intoxicated. It's not a major issue since it's a Sunday, but some people do take off the following Monday.
