About the author presents authors from every genre you might imagine. These authors are authors you would otherwise not know about or have limited knowledge of them or their work. These are authors who have taken the time to write more about themselves to share with their readers than most of the well-known authors that everyone has heard about take the time to do. This author wrote her own “About the Author” for those parties interested so that they might know more about her and her work on a personal level rather than just a professional level.
About the Author
Theresa M. Moore is a writer, illustrator and publisher with an avid interest in science fantasy adventure, history, mythology, and science; and a skeptical interest in pseudoscience and paranormal research. She writes in a strong cinematic style with the mission to intellectually stimulate as well as entertain and publishes under the imprint Antellus. Her current projects include the Children of the Dragon series of science fiction/vampire fusion books which is a chronicle of the Xosan, living vampires from the planet Antellus who were once human but were transformed by a dragon's blood. They are stories of science fiction, fact and fantasy, myth and history, romance, tragedy and triumph; linked together by the theme of the vampire as hero. 8 books have been published.
Another project is the Saxon & Hampstead Investigations, Ltd. mystery/paranormal detective series, inspired in part by several television shows of the same genre. Her book, "The Mystery of Cranewood Manor", is the first book.
Moore also writes nonfiction on genre related subjects like history, mythology and science, and has published 5 nonfiction books, including 3 editions on self-publishing. Most notable of these is her book "A BOOK OF FIVE RINGS: A Practical Guide to Strategy by Miyamoto Musashi"; which is a modern retranslation of his work along with a series of essays on the history and traditional background of the sword master's life and time.
Moore is a member of the Women's National Book Association and the Association of Independent Authors, and the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society, as well as several professional groups on other web sites.
