Kingdoms at War (KaW) is an online game available on the computer via a browser, as well as android and iTunes app store. It is free to download.

Kingdoms at War has a lot of great qualities that would make a game worthwhile. It is available for free from the iTunes App store, Android market, or simply a web browser (www.kingdomsatwar.com). Although the app is free, the ability to buy in-game content is a possibility. The need for these special items is low, as you can play as long as you want without paying a dime, and be just as effective. The option is simply there for those that want to go above and beyond. Below you will find my thoughts on the game.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the game was the tutorial. It was very straightforward, and helped to teach me the basics necessary to grow. The navigation menus are extremely efficient, and obvious. The soundtrack lacks anything special, and you have the option to mute it if you'd like.

As soon as I got involved in a clan, I was hooked. The addiction factor in this game is very high. I find myself checking the game every hour to participate in battles and keep up with friends. The games does a great job of making you an important part of the team effort your clan puts forth. Without you, they don't do as well. It's nice to feel needed, isn't it?

On that note, the social aspect of the game is flawless. The game contains a language filter, and Modulators are constantly on to silence players who attempt to bypass the filter. You have the ability to chat with the world, your clan, your allies, as well as private message users, which works a lot like instant messaging.

You're free to build your kingdom as you'd like. There are an endless possibility of choices for your build, and all are necessary, as they excel in certain areas.

The beauty in this game is the casual game play. This isn't a game that needs a lot of your attention, though the possibility is there if you'd like. You can go on a couple times a day for a few minutes each and grow steadily, becoming stronger still.

I encourage you to check it out. I'm in a clan called Tiger Claw. My name on there is SouloftheLight. Feel free to message me and I'll help get you started!
