Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise divorce: How should little Suri be raised?

Finally, with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ divorce settlement announced this Monday, little Suri Cruise now is facing the drastic change in her young life, although her mom was claimed to win her daughter’s primary custody.

I guess now is a good time to write something for the little girl instead of focusing all our attentions on the separated couple. It is always sad and depressed for every little child on this planet to experience his or her parent’s divorce. I am totally understanding that Katie claimed how bad it will be for little Suri if Tom sends her to the scientology church school. Of course, this is public reason used by Katie in her announcement to file a divorce with Tom. But, let me ask you something, Katie, as a mom, have you ever ever considered that how bad it will be for Suri if she grows up without a father around her. No mother in this world would like to raise their children without a father figure. No child in the world would like grow up without a complete family. There are numerous evidence showing that children raised in a single parent family most likely will end up to be problematic teens. For examples, they are more prone to be violent and anti-social. I do not think it will be any difference for celebrities’ children. Charlie Sheen probably is a perfect example for early malparenting.

Why I am worrying about Suri so much? I think the current media and news like sniffing dogs only pick up something that could attract people’s curiosities. Taking Tom and Katie’s divorce for example, tons of following up news are tend to reveal what is the reason behind the apparent story. Was it because of the religion? Were they having some sort of agreement before the marriage? Now it is the time for Katie to leave Tom according to this pre-snip document? Wow, all these things sound so interesting and conspiring? Wait, hold on for one second! No, they are not. It is totally media strategies to increase their sales. All in all, it is all driven by the one single word “money”.

However, our little poor Suri likes an alone floating small boat in the middle of the storm. No one cares her happiness. After all, she is the only person who will traumatize so much in this event. So I am asking everyone with some humanity please help this little girl to go through this. Give her enough space and do not try to dig anything that could hurt her.
