Indian Wrestlers in London Olympics 2012

          After all the participation of Indian Contingent in London Olympics 2012, only the wrestlers are left for competiting in London Olympics. 5 wrestlers have qualifed in Wrestling competition, from them 4 are men and 1 is Women. Today, Geeta Phogat will start her proceeding and could win a medal for India. This year in Kazakistan, in Asian Championships, she has won Gold Medal and she is very confident that she could get medal in this Olympics.

          Geeta Phogat, is the lone Women wrestlers from India who has qualified in Olympics. She is having 4 sisters and all are in the field of Wrestling. One of her sister is the National Champion in Wrestling. Geeta Phogat will start her competition in free-style wrestling.

          Besides Geeta Phogat, there are four wrestlers who will compete from 10th August and on the last day of olympics Bronze medal winner Sushil Kumar will compete for Medal in Olympics. Four other wrestlers are Sushil Kumar, Amit Kumar, Yogeshwar Dutt and Narshim Yadav. India is having huge expectation from them and they will atleast give 1 or 2 medals.

          Sushil kumar who was the flag Bearer for India in Opening Ceremony, will have his competition on 12th August and could give us medal to India. Along with Sushil Kumar, Yogeshwar dutt, amit kumar and Narshim Yadav are also the good probables for india to get medals. They have done hard training with Foreign coaches and we could expect everything from them. Even indian coaches have worked hard to build them for this big event.
