It can be hard for content writers to come up with fresh ideas for articles but if you write about what you know, and the things you have personal experiences of, then you will always have something to write about.
If you know your subject well or have direct experience of it then I feel it comes across in the article. If you have little experience or knowledge of a subject, then it is all too obvious to most readers that you either are not familiar with your chosen topic or you have not done enough research.
The kind of articles I write are not likely to garner me the same amount of views that some writers’ get as a lot of people will not be searching for these topics on a regular basis, but I do have thousands of page views and it’s all for topics that I am familiar with.
So, I write about the books I’ve read, my online earning efforts, the music I like, the food I cook, and the products I buy or the films I watch etc. I’m far more comfortable doing that than I would be pretending to be an expert on subjects I know little or nothing about.
Another thing to remember when article writing is not to exaggerate claims, or to write deliberately misleading headlines and intros. While it true that this kind of sensationalist headlines and articles might get a ton of views, people know the information is unreliable and all of our reputations suffer; ultimately so does the reputation of the writer. All of us get penalised by search engines for putting out poor quality information. This is not fair on those who do their best to provide quality articles.
Writing grossly exaggerated claims about earnings on other sites is another issue. Most of us can read an article and know that the claims are not entirely true, either from direct experience or from finding out from others. Then there are those that do not know, and sign up for an opportunity that promises to make them decent money, and does not. It is likely that they will remember where they get the misleading information from.
