IBPS Bank Interview Experience Part 1 - Bank of India

Here is a real Bank Interview experience from one of our members. Here I am posting the interview experience which was posted as comments here. Hope it helps the candidates to get better knowledge of a real bank interview.Please note that the following interview experience is not mine. But of a candidate who did the interview and wanted to post his experience online. He sent me a comment in one of my column.Any one willing to share their interview experiences can sent me a comment below with the details. So here we go with the interview experience of Bank of India.

I had my bank of India clerk interview on 13 June 2012 .So I thought to share my interview experience and questions here.

First of all my IBPS score was 187 and in English I scored 46. And my English marks were enough to impress the interview panel. Interview panel was of 5 members (4 males+ 1 female).

Questions were basically on personal front:

1. Introduce Yourselves
2. Why bank after B. Tech
3. Family background
4. Why our bank
5. Have u applied for any other banks?

Then the main interviewer fired upon me and said that your English marks are remarkable and asked me whether you have done any sort of coaching or not. I said no sir and I really felt that the interview was just a formality.

My interview tip : Remember see into the eyes of interviewer and give attention to all the panel members.

Lastly only three questions were asked related to bank.
1. What all documents do you need to open a bank account?
2. If u have a fixed deposit of 2 lakhs at 10% for 1 year and due to some urgency u have to break it...
a. will the bank give u interest for 2 months at 10%
b. will your principal amount be cut if u draw early than 1 year completion time?
I answered all the questions and the panel was impressed and I am quite confident of selection. Best of luck to all aspirants
