I Murdered My Daughter To Stop Her From Stealing

“I had to kill her. She was beautiful but a thief. I couldn’t take her attitude any longer so I had to kill her. Oh God she was beautiful. I’m so sorry. I wish I could control myself….but it is too late. My daughter is dead because of me and I’ll never see her face anymore. Please forgive me.”
These were the words of Richard Mensah, a man who murdered his daughter in cold blood.
The 58-year-old man from Cape Coast, decided to end his 15-year-old daughter’s life. Why? Because of her alleged persistent stealing from him.
According to the police, the suspect fired at his daughter with his shotgun the moment he detected that the money he kept in his room had gone missing. The bullet struck her head and killed her instantly.

The suspect told the police that his deceased daughter had been pilfering from him for a long time now and he could not tolerate her shameful actions any longer. He had to do something to stop that.
“I therefore decided to kill her to free her from this shameful behavior that will plaque her life for as long as she lives.” these were the words he allegedly confessed to the police
He is been charged with first degree murder and arraigned to appear before the court.
