Do you own a Chevrolet Cruz?
There are chances that you have a model of Chevrolet Cruz manufactured in between September 2010- May 2012 at Ohio by general Motors. Although, these cars sold in US, Canada and Israel only have a chance that some one took them to other countries also. Now GM is planning to recall those almost half a million cars because they have a manufacturing problem.
Actually, as per the company sources they feel that they are going ahead to make some changes in its engine that would have lesser chances of catching fire due to a slight problem while ignition. The company is interested to serve a notice to this effect in the month of July this year although, the company has denied any manufacturing problem but just to upgrade in the model to make it safer for the customers.
So this is highly advisable to customers allover the world to make sure to check their model and warranty. However, as per GM, the whole process will take only half an hour at showroom concerned. They also think that this is only a minor problem related to a particular part of the engine. In addition, this particular problem seen in the cars manufactured in a particular plant mentioned above and there is absolutely no problem in other plants.
I am more worried about the cars manufactured its Australian unit because one of my most dear one has just bought a Chevrolet at Sydney recently. I wish that particular piece would be free of any such problem.
