Hunger like no other by Kresley Cole

Another great book from the series “Immortals after dark” . Kresley Cole is an author of paranormal romances. In her book she created world full of such creatures like Valkyries, Vampires and Werewolves in which they compete with each other for domination in Lore. The immortals the same like human seek for love.
The main characters of the book are Emaline ( child of Valkyrie and Vampire) and Lachlain the Werewolf. Lachlain after 150 years of imprisonment in Paris Catacombs escapes to the freedom. Within decades of torment only one thought kept him from Become insane “ his mate”. The woman for eternity with who he can truly be. This one thought became his obsession. In unusual circumstances he meets Emmaline. He realise that this woman is his chosen one. Lachlain struggle with accepting his vampire mate as she belongs to the kind he truly hates.
The characters came through inspiring metamorphosis and discover themselves against their will, prejudice and disgust. While we follow them during reading the book, we feel attached to the characters. We realise that despite their beauty and special powers they have the same feelings and doubts as humans.
Kresley Cole allows us to be secret observers of her immortal world. While we reading her book we can feel like her characters and be part of their lives. The book is written simple language without language knots. On the end of the book we can find handy dictionary, which can help us to understand immortal world – Lore.
The book is meant for people who loves adventures, mysteries and gothic style novels and for people who lost hope with romantic aspect of life. “Hunger like no other” is not written in sweet “Harlequin” like style where we can find to candy sweet and idealistic characters. Instead of this in Cole’s book we can find pain, loss and loneliness, passion and madness ,hate and love.
I would like to congratulate the writer for creating such amazing book. Also I’m impress by Kresley Cole’s imagination. This book is highly recommended even by” New York Times”.
