The transition between being in primary school, and moving high school is a horrible process, which nobody likes to have to go through. It’s like being promoted to top status in your line of work, getting full respect from your peers, then moving it’s a much more advanced line of work; but this time you’re at the bottom! However being new at high school doesn’t have to be as bad as it sounds, if you follow the tips you’ll discover while reading this article!

Look as if you’re fully confident!

Whilst moving into high school can be one of the scariest things ever accomplished in childhood, by looking completely confident you will project a feeling of strength all around you. When you walk down a corridor, everyone in their right mind will respect you, and maybe even praise you for being so bold! Now a it’s clear that multitudinous amounts of kids aged 12-15 have little to no confidence at this stage, because their bodies are changing constantly making life different for them everyday. (In fact that’s a reason to why there is a lot of bullying at this stage, because people feel so insecure!) So if you are like the majority of teenagers, you might not fully know how to act confident naturally. Well if you retrospectively look at a time when you were absolutely confident, or when you were completely abounded with happiness, by coping your exact physiology you can achieve those emotions again.

So how do you copy your physiology from times in the past? Well it’s incredibly simple! First you have to copy ow you were standing at this point of feeling great. Were you slouched over, or were you stood straight? I can almost guarantee the answer is stood up straight, as this creates a sense of power within our bodies. How about your breathing patterns at the time? Were you breathing at a fast pace, or were you breathing slowly and calmly like the sea? Try to go through absolutely everything your body was doing or feeling, and you will instantaneously achieve that feeling of greatness! (Keep in mind this also works on the negative side too, so make sure you aim to always be positive!)

Be kind to others.

This really will work brilliantly for you, as well as everyone you meet, as when you’re kind to others they’ll be kind to you! A really easy way of being kind to people is simply saying “hello” to them, when you see them pass you by in the corridors. People will find you pleasant to be around when you begin talking to them nicely, and if you see them often enough you might find that you begin a good relationship. So it really does pay to be kind to others that you see daily, but just remember that being confident doesn’t mean being jerk.

Be exciting!

When going to high school you want to stand out above the crowd right? Well here is the best way to do it! Be a different, new you every month! Humans crave variety, and if they are the same thing month after month, they’ll soon die out of boredom. So the way to counter this is to just be you, whether that’s the Emo you, or the nerd version of you, be who you want to be to keep things going. (Just remember to keep treating people correctly, and achieving high grades too!)

Don’t feel down when bigger kids laugh at you.

The bigger kids that will make your high school life a misery if you let them, are really the deadliest snakes in the jungle. They will try sometimes so much to get you into trouble, they spend hours after school contemplating how to do it. The easiest way to get them to stop, is to show them you don’t care what they say, by laughing and walking away from them! It’s easy trust me!

That’s all for now, and I hope that your first days at high school are great!
