How to Rest an Android Phone

So you want to sell your phone, fix some problem, clean it up or for some other reason, you want to reset your phone so that is seems brand new. Here are two easy an simple ways to get that done. Won't take more than 2 minutes. This should also work on tablet or any other android devices.

1st Method - Choosing Option in setting.

• Go to settings
• Scroll down and select privacy
• Select Factory data reset
• Select to erase SD card if you want to
• Confirm (Select Reset Phone)

2nd Method - Hard Reset

This method is slightly more complicated and it may take some doing. This is the only method that you can use if your phone will not load. I did this when my phone (Huawei Sonic) would not load past the loading screen and it worked perfectly. Keep in mind that to use this method, you will still need some battery power. So keep your phone charged up to a reasonable level before you try this.

• Charge Phone
• Turn Phone off
• Wait for around 5-10 seconds
• Turn on phone
• Just as you turn it on, hold the volume up button (should be on the side of your screen) and hold the power button
• You should come to a force load screen with different options
• Select the option to reset phone to factory data, and wallah!
