How to Mix a Alabama Slammer Cocktail

The Alabama Slammer cocktail really is a killer cocktail recipe, perfect for any party or get together.  As this Alabama Slammer cocktail originates from the deep south, it's goes the perfectly with BBQ food or even just on it's own as you chill on a hot summers evening.

The Alabama Slammer really is a cracking cocktail for a party or BBQ and is made using equal parts of southern comfort and vodka, with the addition of orange juice and grenadine to give it a nice refreshing summer taste. 

Below is my recipe for how to mix a killer Alabama slammer cocktail.  I would also recommend using a premium vodka such as Absolut vodka in order to do the cocktail justice.

Ingredients

1 oz of Southern Comfort

1 oz of Absolut Vodka

4 oz of Orange Juice

¾ oz of Grenadine

Method

Using a 12oz highball glass and add a generous helping of ice.

Pour the southern comfort, vodka, orange juice and grenadine into the glass.

Give all the ingredients a good stir.

Now all there is left to do is sit back and enjoy your Alabama Slammer cocktail and let the world just pass you by..
