How to Make a Long Island Iced Tea

Try this recipe for how to mix a knockout long island iced tea cocktail.  The long island iced tea cocktail is a true classic of the cocktail world and is sure to go down well at any party or get together, best of all the long island iced tea is so easy to mix.

I have based this recipe around the spirits I use for my long island iced tea, please feel free to use the brands you prefer. 

One piece of advice I do have on your choice of spirits is to avoid the supermarkets value brands as they can be a little harsh and will affect the quality of the cocktail.

Ingredients

½ oz of Gordon’s Gin
½ oz of Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila
½ oz of Absolut Vodka
½ oz of Havana Club Rum
The juice of half a freshly squeezed lemon
Coke

Method

Using a 12oz glass and add a generous helping of ice.

Mix gin, tequila, vodka, rum and lemon and pour over the ice.

Top up with coke and enjoy.
