How to Earn Money on RuneScape- Free to Play Guide

Most of us Runescape players have asked the question at one point in the game, how do I earn money on Runescape? Well now the answer is here!

Got your eye on something you want but can't afford? This guide should help. There are many ways of earning money in Runescape from cutting trees to mining rocks but I have chosen a few of the best methods and put them together to create this guide, read on to find out how to earn money on Runescape.

Method 1-Mining.                                                                                                                                                  This method is a good way of making money as some players like to smelt ore and make amour and weapons so you can be sure the ores you mine are going to sell for a pretty handsome price. For this method it is good to have a high level and an advanced mining pick. You can mine anything you wish but I would choose iron ore for two main reasons 1- as an advanced miner it wouldn't take to long to get a full inventory iron ore and 2- The players that smelt iron ore would usually buy double the amount of ores that they are intending to make into bars as there is a 50% chance of succeeding when smelting iron ore as well as the fact that iron ore sells for a pretty good price.

Method 2-Fishing.                                                                                                                                              This method is also a great way to make money and I have earn millions with it, unfortunately to make good money with fishing you will require a higher fishing level than 42 in able to fish lobsters but I recommend having one a little bit higher than that as it will greatly decrease the amount of time spent trying to get a full inventory of lobsters. The best place to fish for lobsters is Karamja meaning you will need to take 60 gold coins (travel fee) with you when you leave the bank to head to Port Siam as well as 1 lobster pot. Let's just say if you wanted to earn 1 million GP on Runescape you would have to complete roughly equal to 100 inventories/trips of Lobster. The best way to remember how many trips you have done is to mark it on a piece of paper as you go along.

Method 3-Woodcutting.                                                                                                                                  Earning money with Woodcutting requires patience and a high woodcutting level but it can be rewarding if you stick to it. Although Yews take quite a while to cut their logs are quite expensive therefore could help you earn money on Runescape. Despite this cutting yews requires lots of patience and I will admit I have not made millions with it but have made a good 500k. So depending on how much you wish to earn and how much patience you have this method may or may not work for you. Of course yew’s are not the only things that make money on Runescape, you can sell any sorts of logs but yews are the most expensive in free to play.
