How Do You Write Without Inspiration And The Benefit Of Research?

As I start to write this, I'm as clueless as you as to how to proceed with my own question.  I've got no particular topic in mind but believe me I will plod down the muddy track of writing.

Let's talk.

How's the weather, for instance?  Here in my neck of the woods, we have an overcast sky, as the weatherman says, but he lies. It's both dull and rainy.  In fact there's been much rainfall lately when I peeked through the curtain.

We like to jot down our thoughts, don't we, depending on how we focus our attention on something, or how they call our attention to things insignificant?  Like the weather a while ago, and now my computer.

You see, this computer of mine, oh, my mini laptop is unarguably small and tiny.  I search and peck each key as I construct sentences and paragraphs, the small units of composition.  Later, as you will see, as I peck and peck my weird soliluquy on my keyboard, tiny as it might look,  my column forms fresh with little more than 200 words.

Speaking of columns,  Expertscolumn allows poetry.  I have contributed my share of that here, in case you don't know yet.  I bet you are contemplating on composing a poem, too.  If I were you, let spontaneity be your guide when you want effusion in letters, of poems.

At Wikinut, where more and more people leave in search of greener pastures, the new moderator is preaching the gospel about creating quality articles as if he actually practice doing so and having one, among other things. He is correct but he is preaching it from a collapsing pulpit. Read my lips.

How far have we gone into this conversation, my friend?  I'm still sitting here in front of my mini laptop thinking still about ideas still to be spinned about.  Now others might chastised me for using the word "about" in the same neighborhood context.

This is all about writing, isn't it?  My keyboard might be small but enough David to slay a Goliath of writer's block.  It's all about a point of view,  how you shift it, and how we both dwell on it till we accumulate words of literature -- words that count after the computer age is gone,

And after I have complied with the minimum word count, of course.:-)
