Or perhaps I this could be worded differently, what do you read on experts column. Okay, so we are all here to make money and are to various degrees of success managing to do this. But what else do you do while you logged in? Do you just upload and leave or are you like me and spend a few minutes scanning articles to see if there is anything interest you. One thing that drives me mad if the message to comment on someone else articles, I do this quite often, if i find something interesting in the article or if I want to let the writer know it's a good piece of work. I would personally like this so I'm assuming most writers are the same, positive feedback being the lives blood, and the drug we all crave. i also know that by pestering people into reading my articles i could make more money but despite this being the primary goal, it's not really what i want. I want people to like my articles, to find them informative, funny, interesting not a chore by which to return the favour. And i do have favourite writers, i often check through my friends work and see if they have written anything interesting or relevant to me. Equally if you comment on my articles chances are I will look through a selection of your articles and possibly comment. This is how I use experts column, but is this normal? How does everyone else? is this just a platform for making money? Or are you also looking at other writers work, getting feedback, gaining real insight into what others find interesting. are you trying to find like minded friends, peers who love writing as much as you and want to talk to others who feel the same. This site has so much potential, beyond merely making money.
