My favorite soothing moisturizing homemade mask to make when my skin is itchy and dry is my Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask. My homemade facial mask is very easy to make and if super moisturizing to really dry skin that is red and flaky. Best of all the mint in the mask stops the itchy feeling on your face caused by the dry red skin.
The ingredients you will need to make my homemade Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask is ½ cup of natural vitamin E cream, 1 drop of peppermint oil, 1 drop of spearmint oil, and 1 drops of wintergreen mint oil, 1 teaspoon of aloe, and 1 teaspoon of cornstarch. You can find all of these in your local grocery stores and health food stores in your local area for around $25 or less.
The materials you will need to make my homemade Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask are 1 small mixing bowl, 1 small mixing spoon, and a plastic container with a lid. You can find all these materials for a $1 each at your local dollar store if you do not already have them in your kitchen.
The way you make my Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask is by taking your small mixing bowl and adding the ½ cup of natural vitamin E cream, 1 drop of peppermint oil, 1 drop of spearmint oil, and 1 drops of wintergreen mint oil, 1 teaspoon of aloe, and 1 teaspoon of cornstarch directly into it. Than what you do is taking your small mixing spoon and combined all the ingredients together until they form a thick creamy white mint face mask. If you find the dace mask is to liquid like simple add a little more cornstarch. After you are done combining all the ingredients together you will than have my Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask and you can place it into your plastic contain and cover it up until you are ready to use it.
Now the way I like to use my Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask is by taking a handful of it and applying it directly to my face whether or not I have makeup on or not until my face is completely covered in a nice thick even layer. You will notice when you apply it to your skin the mint smell and tingly sensation on your skin. You will also notice that the mask is super creamy and rich and full of vitamin E and soothing aloe which are to ingredients that help protect, heal, and moisturize dry skin. After I am done applying it to my skin I allow the face mask to stay on for 20 minutes. The reason why I leave the face mask on for 20 minutes is because I like the moisture from the mask and the vitamins to soak into my skin and allow the mint in the mask to sooth the itchy red dry skin on my face. Once I am done with the mask I simply wash it off with cotton face cloth with warm water until the mask is completely off. After the facial mask is off you will notice how soft and smooth your skin is. If your skin was super dry before applying the mask you may want to apply a face cream after using it. I like to use my homemade Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask up to 3 times a week if my skin is super dry.
I wish you all the very best of luck if you try to make my Tingly Mint Moisturizing Face Mask and hope those of you who use it end up loving how it moisturizes your dry skin. I hope all of you have some luck at healing up your dry irritated skin with a soothing homemade moisturizing face mask or can find another face mask that will work better for you!
