Holding on to the Memories

     Life goes on even if some people leave your life. Whether a breakup, a death, or just losing a friend, people leave your life all the time. What doesn't leave however are the memories these people have left behind.

     A quote I like a lot is "we're not friends, just strangers with memories." You can't consider aperson a stranger if they are in your memories. However, when someone unfriends you, they are the opposite of a friend, a stranger. The memories will be in your heart for the rest of your life. 

     I don't like the saying " till death do us part" because nothing shiould seperate you. Just because they passed away doesn't mean you should part ways. If you truly love somebody, then nothing should make you part ways. I know its an old saying that is quite famous but everyone overlooks the meaning of the expression.

     Losing a best friend is like losing  apart of yourself. You may not realize it, but when your best friend leaves your side, your life changes completely. You used to talk to your best friend for hours, hanf out with them all the time and have inside jokes. The old you is dead and gone bcause your best friend was responible for the old you. The only thing that youm are left with are memories. Tons of them and a lot of time to reminisce.
