He wants us Healthy

Text: Exodus 23:25b – I will take away sickness from among you (New International Version).

Sickness is a great burden to both the sick and the attendant. Apart from the enormous amount expended on the treatment, it weakens the sick physically and spiritually. Personally, I know about this truth, having spent most part of the past ten years in the hospital.

God aware of our health demands and healing made plans for protecting the Israelites from the scourge of sickness. Those plans have been extended to us the new Israel. His plans are;
1) He sent His word to heal in case we fall sick (Psalm107:20 and John 1:1 – 4).    
2) He takes away sicknesses (Exodus 23:25 and Deuteronomy 7:15).
3) He went about healing the sick (Matthew 4:23 and 9:35).
4) They flogged Him to guarantee our healing (Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24).
5) He shed His blood to redeem us from all curses including sickness (Mark 14:24 and Luke 22:20).
These are all the provisions God made for us because He cares for us. Do you know that God is not even happy to see us sick? Again that He is ever willing to heal us

Today we are beneficiary of these provisions made by God. Are you sick and earnestly seeking for healing? Don’t be discouraged. God is willing and ever ready to heal you and grant you health. Hold on to God for the words He has given you. Even the medical personnel say they may cure but only God heals. My dear, trust God and He will do it for you.

Food For Thought: So Jesus suffered this much to make us healthy?

Prayer Points:
1) Thank God, for the promise made to you in our text today.
2) Ask god to take away every sickness and disease tormenting you.
3) Bind and cast into the ocean the entire demon in charge of sickness.
