Happy Family: Ivan Learns to Read

Ivan always wanted to become a good reader and a writer too, and whenever he had a chance, she always asks a help to his older sister Ate Anita.

Ivan pleased Ate Anita: “Ate Anita, can you please teach me again more techniques on how to read? Regarding our subject for tomorrow if for us to read individually selected topics in front of our classmates, and I want to show to my teacher Ma’am Lilia and also to my classmates that I am now getting more improvements on how to read?”

Ivan’s older sister Ate Anita replied: “Ok, I promise to teach you another ways on how to read (with pleasing sounds) but before that, I’ll have to finish first my pending work.”

Ivan felt very happy because her older sister wants to teach him more on how to read.

Then Ate Anita asks Ivan: “First of all, you have to select those books in the shelves, books which you feel more interesting to you; you may begin to look it now”.

Ivan immediately rushed to his father’s personal library of books, carefully selected one by one found some more pictures that most of the books has on its pages. Ivan said to himself: “I just want to know how to read so that I may know the messages of these different stories found on these books”.

Though determined to wait for how long her older sister to finish her pending work, Ivan already started to look that the pictures on each of the pages and seems he already got some ideas on what the story messages is all about page by page by just looking at those pictures.

At least, her older sister Ate Anita approached Ivan and say: “Ivan, come here beside me, I am ready now to teach you how to read that text messages on your book”

“I’ll teach you how to read word by word, and you must follow it with you eyes to where I point it with my fingers” ….said by Ate Anita.

Ate Anita carefully teaches Ivan and Ivan already started to learn every word that her older sister being said….

“I am starting to learn reading now” …said by Ivan.

“And in order for you to speed up learning on how to read, you should pay attention to what your teacher Ma’am Lilia teaches you” …said by Ate Anita.

After 15 days, Ivan approached again her older sister Ate Anita.

Ate Anita just ask a question to Ivan: “What? Shall I teach you again how to read?”

“No more my beloved Sister, it is now I am the one will read the content story of this animal fables book that I borrow from my classmate Joy” ….replied by Ivan.

When Ate Anita heard while his younger brother started to read the fable story, she’s proud and happy because Ivan is a fast learner and knows now how to read texts in the book pages.

Even the parents of Ivan are very proud of him to have a child that really cares for his school studies compare to playing toys with some lazy students.
