Without Google+ my virtual life still can enjoy what the Internet and the World Wide Web have promised!
Two days ago, Google+ has temporarily suspended my G+ account. I understand - I am using Google plus only to share what I have written from publishing sites I am connected with. I know I did not violate any of their policies.
The suspension letter said "After reviewing your profile, we determined that some of the content (for example text, images, or name) violates the Google+ User Content and Conduct Policy or Names Policy. Please remember that profiles are limited to individuals; use Google+ Pages for businesses and other entities.
"While suspended, you will not be able to make full use of Google services that require an active profile, such as Google+, Reader, and Picasa. This will not prevent you from using other Google services, like Gmail.
"If you believe that your profile was suspended in error, or if you recently changed your profile to comply with our policies please submit your profile for reconsideration.
"Your profile will be reviewed again and we will lift the suspension if it complies with our policies. Reviews are usually completed within a few days. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
"We understand that Google+ and its Names Policy may not be for everyone at this time. We'd be sad to see you go, but if you do choose to leave, make a copy of your Google+ data first. Then, click here to disable Google+."
I know I did not violate any of their policies. Before Google+ came to life, I was already enjoying Facebook, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Twitter and other bookmarking sites aside from those blog sites I am maintaining everyday and those paying publishing sites I am connected with.
Some of Google+ policies state that users should not use G+ for illegal activities, to transmit malicious products, to distribute hate speech, to distribute other people's personal and confidential information, for account hijacking, to distribute content that exploits children, sending spam and unwanted promotional or commercial content, aggressively adding people, ranking manipulation, sharing sexually explicit material, profile picture with mature or offensive content, bullying behavior, deceptive behavior, fake profiles, content that facilitates actual gambling, contents that facilitate the promotion or sale of pharmaceuticals, alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, weapons, or health/medical devices and escort services.
As what I said, to leave Google+ is not really a big deal to me. It is just one of the many social networks I am connected with. Without Google+ my virtual life still can enjoy what the Internet and the World Wide Web have promised! For the past two days, I already started deleting what I have uploaded on their site.
