Thiruvalluvar, the famous poet saint of South India, says that there can be no better pleasure than the love from children. Tagore, the Nobel Laureate says, “Every child born on this earth proves that God still loves humanity.”

Jesus says that the kingdom of heaven is the right of the children

Many times Jesus mentioned about the qualities of children. It makes it clear that the kingdom of heaven belongs to the children and those who live like children. This has much to impart to us God’s message of what He says through the children. Their pure, simple, sincere, selfless, and loving characters have a lot to say to the grown up adults of this age. Jesus, mentioning about the criteria of entering into heaven, says, “Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.” (Mark 10:15) This tells us how God speaks through children. This calls us to learn lessons from children to find a way to reach heaven.

Become like children

Grown up people tend to think highly of themselves. They look down on others, including children. They are after power and wealth. They want to dominate others and control them. How can they expect that children can teach them a lesson of humility and selflessness? But actually, children teach us straightforwardness and sincerity. They teach us openness and simplicity.

God shows the way to build up heaven on this earth itself through children

God speaks through the children and teach humanity the way of acquiring the kingdom of heaven and making this earth a paradise. By becoming children, we discover god as our Father and unfailing Protector. By becoming children, we can look at others and accept them as our brothers and sisters. By becoming children, we share our life in love. By listening to what God says through the children, we can build up a paradise on this earth itself and equip ourselves worthy of His kingdom.
